Get to Know The Kansas Foot Center
At The Kansas Foot Center, we are dedicated to providing effective treatment for any medical condition that is affecting your lower limbs. To achieve this objective, we develop personalized strategies and treatment plans for every patient who comes to see us. The care we provide is evidence-based and utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and best current industry practices for optimal results.
After seeing us at either of our two Kansas podiatrist offices, we will provide you with written instructions, literature, and the appropriate products for home use, including preventative measures and support following surgical procedures.
We are firmly committed to providing quality, individualized care to our patients by identifying, managing, and addressing specific podiatric challenges you face. We believe in providing both compassion and education while we follow unique, effective treatment options to bring clients to better health so you can participate in favorite activities and find relief from painful symptoms. Our preferred option for treatment is always to use conservative methods, but we perform successful surgical procedures when they are necessary.
Dr. Thomas Truong and staff will dedicate themselves in exceeding your expectations. Since 2007, we’ve provided a wide range of medical care for the lower leg, foot and ankle. Our doctor will help you get back on your feet.
Dr. Thomas D. Truong
Dr. Thomas D. Truong has performed thousands of foot surgeries in his career, and specializes in bunions, hammertoes, and forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive procedures. Whenever possible, though, Dr. Truong pursues all available nonsurgical treatments before resorting to surgery. As a result of his combined experience and commitment to state-of-the-art therapies, Dr. Truong is able to offer more options to his patients than any other podiatrist in the region.
The Kansas Foot Center is pleased to offer exceptional foot and ankle care, both conservative and surgical in nature, for a wide range of medical conditions. We use state-of-the-art technology and techniques when dealing with common issues like sports injuries, heel pain, and various skin and toenail conditions, as well as providing diabetic foot care to keep our patients safe from potentially serious medical complications.
We are committed to always exploring conservative treatment before recommending foot or ankle surgery, but our doctors are both trained and experienced with performing effective surgical procedures when they are needed. If this is the treatment path we recommend, our professionals will sit down and discuss your procedure so you can make an informed decision and know what to expect.
We are proud to have offices in Newton and Wichita to better serve our patients. You can always give us a call at (866) 222-5177 to speak to any of our friendly staff members and we will be glad to assist you. Of course, you can also use our easy, convenient online form to schedule your appointment at your preferred location!
Put simply, our priority is your health. The Kansas Foot Center is able to back this claim up by the fact we schedule more time with our patients than the industry standard. This allows for better doctor/patient relationships, which is essential for ensuring that your concerns and issues are completely addressed.
Every patient is different, and each situation unique, so it is important that our doctors spend time with you and completely understand the problem. We then take all of the information we gather and apply it to providing you with an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plan. For us, this is not “going the extra mile,” it is simply practicing medicine in the way it should be done.
We are proud to have an expert, skilled surgeon on staff, but Dr. Truong is committed to staying current in the latest conservative treatment methods. This often allows us to avoid invasive surgical procedures other podiatrists may elect to perform.
